Birdies for Charity returns again this year to let golf fans put their guessing skills to the test while raising money for local charities. Operated by Northern Ohio Golf Charities, Inc. and in conjunction with the World Golf Championships – Bridgestone Invitational, July 29 – August 3, 2008 at Firestone Country Club, Birdies for Charity invites select non-profit organizations to seek pledges, either as a dollar amount per birdie made during the 4 rounds of competition at the tournament or as a fixed amount.
